Cloakroom Complete Re-fit
Cloakroom Re-fit
A little downstairs cloakroom complete re-fit transformation undertaken. All plumbing, tiling, carpentry and final fit out undertaken by Gridiron. A final buff and polish of the tiles required to wrap this one up.
Boiler Replace
We don't just fit Ideal Boilers, here is a recent swap from a very old Alpha combi boiler to a Worcester 30kw combination boiler.
Complete en-suit
This was a new loft conversion, Gridiron was employed to undertake all the plumbing, tiling and fit out of the suite. A new soil pipe externally was installed as well along with the new electrical supplies for the shower.
Boiler Replace
Removal of a very old Potterton system boiler and installation of a new Ideal Logic Plus 12. Relocated inside the customers new kitchen cupboard. Complete with 7 years warranty.
Bathroom Re-Fit
Complete bathroom transformation from a very tired disabled wet-room to a modern shower room. Gridiron undertook everything from rip out of the old to replacement of the floor joists, plumbing, tiling and fitting of the suite. Including relocating the mains water stop cock which use to be in the shower itself. Customer will be fitting the waterproof hardwood flooring to follow on from the rest of the house and a new window board.
Garage Refurb
This rather tired and dirty old garage underneath a split level house in the Cotswolds had a complete make over with levelling mortar laid to level and smooth the pitted and cracked cement floor, then walls, ceiling painted white and the floor having a good coat of heavy duty workshop floor paint.
Complete Bathroom Re-fit
Complete Bathroom re-fit of this previously installed 1990's green bathroom suit with no shower. The bathroom was completely ripped out and replaced, re-working all the pipework and the addition of an over the bath shower on an open vented system so a shower pump was also installed.
Upgraded heating with the addion of another Towel radiator. Finished in ceramic tiles.

Master Suite Bathroom & Heating Instalation
Master suite complete re-fit, Conceled cistern toilet with Vitra V-care smart seat. Insignia steam shower cabin, his and hers floating vanity unit and traditional radiators completed this instaltion.
Combi Boiler Install
This property had an old open vented heating system with the typical cylinder in the airing cupboard along with a 35 year old open flued boiler in the bedroom cupboard.
Both were removed and a new combination boiler was installed in the airing cupboard along with an upgrade of the gas supply.
Bathroom Re-vamp
Customer had a typical bathroom but wanted to have the bath removed in favour of a quadrant shower cubical and the exsisting sink and vanity unit re-located to the other side of the bathroom. The bath was removed and new shower water supplies chased into the wall and shower splash board used for the walls. The area to the left of the cubical where the bath was originally situated was then tiled in matching tiles.
Shower Instalation
Customer had a seldom used wc in her bungalow which she wanted to convert to a shower room. The wc was removed and a new 1000mm wide shower tray and enclosure was installed along with re-working the pipe work to be conceled behined the wall to supply a shower thermostatic mixer. Conpletly tiled in 600mm x 300mm plain white high gloss tiles.
Heating Upgrade
A recent upgrade to a customer’s garden room. Electric under floor heating was inefficient and expensive to run so I tapped on to the existing gas fired wet heating system with three additional radiators and associated pipework. The final result gave the desire effect.
Traditional Column Radiator
Traditional Victorian Column radiator, complete installation of new heating supplies and hook up.
Belfast Sink / Unit
Complete installation of a traditional farm house kitchen free standing sink unit cut to fit with new plumbing, taps and Belfast sink.
Boiler Replacement
This was a system upgrade and boiler change for a customer. Previously they had a open vented system boiler with hot water cylinder. This was all removed in favour of a high efficency combi boiler.
Shower Tray Replacement
Customers shower tray had unfortunatly split so a new tray and waste system was required. The lower row of tiles needed replacing as they became damaged upon removal of the base.
As the tray and tiles had been there many years the tiles were not made anymore but a similar tile was matched up and the lower wall repaired, along with the new tiles
